Brittany Aquamarine started taking classical piano and theory lessons at age 5 and continued formal piano studies for 7 years. Additionally, at age 6, she began singing with a church choir and sang, practiced and performed in solos and with the choir for 9 years. She used her knowledge of piano and vocals to begin teaching herself guitar and later took private guitar lessons at the Mike Risko Music School.

After obtaining her Masters Degree in Second Language Education, she worked as an English and Spanish language teacher and tutor for 12 years with students ranging from grades pre-K to college where she incorporated music and song into lessons.

In 2017, she received a certificate in Audio and Recording Production from Sonoma State University, which has allowed her to record and mix music as well as engineer sound for live events. She has also taken courses in sound healing at the New York Open Center in New York City.

Brittany has performed and collaborated with many different artists, adding songwriting, instrumentation, lead and background vocals to various musical projects and currently performs her own original singer-songwriter sets accompanying herself with piano, guitar and ukulele. She was also a singer in the family band Grenadilla (, a band with up-beat melodies, multi-layered voices and kwela-flavored rhythms. Grenadilla performed live at XM Radio Studios in Washington D.C., recorded two CDs and played at outdoor festivals such as the Clearwater Festival and Mountain Jam.

Besides offering music lessons in Sebastopol, California, Brittany also teaches music at Art and Soul School of Creative and Performing Arts in Windsor, California.
